I have embraced my culture by doing the best I can and letting those that I work with know that a young Samoan- proud woman is able to work in such an environment where I am seen as a minority.
This internship has given me the opportunity to put all the things I’ve learnt at University and High School into practice. It has given me a wider insight on what it is like to work in such a different environment and what the types of responsibilities I will have. It has also helped me know what type of working styles I like and where I would like to go on from here.
