In the office we refer to our partner kaupapa as a moving feast. It is dynamic, ever increasing, exponential. In our first year of operations 29 interns received a placement across 20 partners. Year 2 saw 74 interns placed amongst 29 partners. This year, 150+ students will intern at one of 60+ partners across our 3 regions.
An additional development in our partner network is our global alliances with brother organisations including : CareerTrackers - Australia, INROADs – America, Canada and Me...

We are in the final stages of matching the 2018/2019 cohort of interns. A mammoth undertaking by our team of TupuToa Navigator’s. Our objective over the last months has been to engage and onboard talent across Aotearoa; visiting with and presenting at various tertiaries and study institutions. We have endeavoured to leave no stone unturned to ensure that our rangatahi utilise this opportunity.

The annual TupuToa Noho Marae is an opportunity for interns and TupuToa team to collaborate and connect in a culturally and Mana enhancing environment; an overnight stay at a Marae. Integrating cultural practices across our programme increases intern’ cultural capital and provides a familiar framework to facilitate wider learning.
