We are in the final stages of matching the 2018/2019 cohort of interns. A mammoth undertaking by our team of TupuToa Navigator’s. Our objective over the last months has been to engage and onboard talent across Aotearoa; visiting with and presenting at various tertiaries and study institutions. We have endeavoured to leave no stone unturned to ensure that our rangatahi utilise this opportunity.
The same approach is adopted by our management team whose focus has been our partnerships. The support from partners has exponentially increased from 29 partners in March, to 62 partners to date. With the support of our Principal, Major, Support, Scholarship and Community Partners, we will continue to champion the call to engage, empower and equip our future business leaders.
It has been a whirlwind 11 months; to call it eventful is a severe understatement. Such a task as this requires a team that is nimble, resilient and passionate. We endeavour to reflect the qualities we look for in TupuToa interns, internally. Our Navigation team is growing, mirroring the expansion of our cohort; we will have upwards of 150 interns this Summer.
TupuToa will continue at the helm of this important transformation across corporate Aotearoa. A heartfelt thanks to all NEW and existing TupuToa partners, without whom, we would cease to exist. We invite you to expand your kete of knowledge; challenge your existing leadership paradigms at our Cultural Competency Workshops across Auckland and Wellington. He aha te kai a te rangatira? He kōrero, he kōrero, hē korero. What is the food of the leader? It is knowledge. It is communication.
